1. The process begins when you Schedule Service. We will reach out to you to confirm your appointment.
2. At the time you chose, bring your items to us at 4133 Burnhill Drive, Plano, TX 75024. Please note that you are looking for a house, not a storefront.
3. We measure and assess your items, then send you an estimate for the work. Once you approve the estimate, we work our magic.
4. When your items are finished, we will contact you with the good news, and send you the invoice. The invoice contains a link to pay online, or you can pay in person.
5. If you received a courtesy knife, please bring it with you when you pick up your items.

It just depends on how much work we have in the ship. Occasionally we're able to complete work in the same day, but we strive to complete your items within 1-3 days. If it will take longer than 3 days, we will contact you.

If we are sharpening your kitchen knives, we have a limited number of courtesy knives available that you may borrow while yours are in the shop. If you would like to borrow one, please let us know. There is no charge for borrowing courtesy knives.

Sharpening is a multi-step process that begins by repairing any minor damage, restoring the bevel angle of the blade, then sharpening and stropping, yielding a phenomenally sharp edge.

We can also perform the following additional services upon request at no charge:

• Lubrication - For folding knives and other knives that have some sort of action (e.g., pocket knives, automatic knives, balisong knives), we can apply a small amount of a synthetic lubricant made specifically for knives to the moving parts. This dramatically improves the smoothness of the knife's action.
• Repairs - If a knife has minor chips or nicks in the edge or a slightly broken or bent tip, we will repair that damage at no cost to you. More extensive damage or damage in an area other than the blade edge is custom work and will be estimated separately.

We accept cash, all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), Zelle, PayPal, Venmo, and ACH bank transfer. Invoices are sent electronically and can be paid online, or we can collect payment in person. NOTE: If you prefer to pay with Zelle or Venmo, please contact us for the information you will need to send the payment.
